TORONTO -- Toronto Rock owner, president and governor Jamie Dawick was named National Lacrosse League executive of the year on Tuesday. "Jamies goal is to make the Rock a world-class sports franchise," NLL commissioner George Daniel said in a release. "Hes very passionate about his team, our league and the sport as a whole. He deserves this recognition and award by his peers." The Rock finished 10-6 this past season and finished in the top third of the league in average attendance.
