Davis, an All-SEC freshman a year ago, and Cowart, the former No. 1 overall recruit in the ESPN 300, were the most notable, but all four played as freshmen for the Tigers in 2015.As a result, all four will be available when Auburn opens the season at home against Clemson, though Malzahn said that playing Clemson in the opener had zero effect on the decision.In a similar situation three years ago, Malzahn benched starting quarterback Nick Marshall for the first half of the season opener against Arkansas after he was cited by police for possession of marijuana during the offseason.
